Cristy Candler is a yoga and meditation teacher thriving in Venice, CA. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a BFA in Theater/Dance and then promptly moved to NYC to pursue her dreams of becoming a Broadway star.

Thirteen years on Broadway in such blockbuster hits as Aida, Wicked (original cast), Chicago, and Rock of Ages inspired Cristy to support her demanding profession onstage with a balance of Yoga and Spirituality.

Cristy became certified in White Lotus Yoga, Laughing Lotus Yoga, and the prestigious method of Jivamukti Yoga. Cristy began teaching at any and all NYC fitness clubs, corporate events and even before curtain on Broadway stages. She also found joy and fun in fitness and yoga modeling for such magazines as Real Simple, Body + Soul, the cover of Yoga Journal (as well as the calendar girl), and the international books and DVDs of Yoga in Bed and Yoga for Suits, which she presented on the CBS Morning show.  She has also followed her passions of creating sacred space by becoming certified in Interior Alignment (space clearing and feng shui), as well as Aromatouch Technique (utilizing essential oils), and Tellingtouch therapy for animals.

Cristy has had the honor of performing at the Kennedy Center, the United Nations, Madison Square Gardens, Google headquarters and most recently the Superbowl.  Such enormous venues and challenging demands to the body have led Cristy on the search for optimal healing and ultimate well-being. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience as a Broadway professional and practicing yogi navigating the modern world.  She learns the most from her 4 lb chihuahua who is the prime example of spiritual enlightenment and unconditional Love.
